If your console no longer loads games properly, it may be necessary to replace the entire drive. The drive is complete with laser and drive board. However, please note that installing a replacement drive is not that easy. The board from your original drive is removed and installed in the drive we supply. To do this, you must either desolder and re-solder 2 cables or alternatively cut them, reconnect them and insulate them with insulating tape.

Please note: This drive is only compatible with Xbox One, not Xbox One S or Xbox One X. As far as we know, there are 2 drives that are compatible with Xbox One, DG-6M1S and DG-6M2S. The drives are basically the same, but the drive cover is different. You should therefore choose the right drive so that the drive cover fits.

To ensure that you install the drive correctly, we recommend that you look for a suitable video on YouTube that shows you step by step how to remove and install the drive.
